"Le".... Useful Indirect Pronoun
"le," is an indirect object pronoun in Spanish. It functions the same, as you'll see in these examples, as in English. Thus, it usually means, “to it,” or, “in it” depending on context ✨
tú le pones → you put it in it, naturally: you put it in 🥄
tú le echas → you pour it in it, naturally: you pour it in 🍶
tú le agregas → you add it to it, naturally: you add it ➕
Rule of Thumb: use, "le," when something is being done to, or for, an indistinct, aka, "indirect," something/someone.
As is normally the case with Spanish, there isn't an exact, word-for-word English prepositional translation (“to,” “in,” etc.) for, "le" ... it's meaning depends on the conjugational clues of the context of action. 🎯
